LNDR stands for La Nieta De Ricardo, Spanish for the 'granddaughter of Ricardo'. I named my business after my grandfather, Ricardo Castillo. A proud Mexican and photographer himself who owned Casa Ricardo's Photography in Norwalk, California for over 50 years.
I felt drawn to photography at a young age when I came to realize life is short. When the people you love are gone - you cling to every image you have of them. I started actively collecting every photo of my family I could get my hands on. My obsession took on a new level after spending a few years overseas and photographing the beautiful landscapes. Since then I am rarely without a camera in hand, capturing every moment before it's gone forever. I now love spending my time with other families and capturing those moments for them to keep forever.
